Grandma Dina's Meatballs

My Grandmother’s meatball recipe is one of our favorites, and is always the most popular dish at every dinner party! This recipe is easy to make, and everyone is sure to enjoy!
Course Appetizer, Main Course, Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 4.4 lbs Ground Beef or any other kind of meat preferred
  • 0.45 lbs Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Onion medium size, cut finely in a blender
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mint
  • 1/2 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda dissolve it in a bit of water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Flour you will need some flour for covering the meatballs before frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the above
  • Let the mix sit for about 30 min so all the flavors combine
  • Form the meatballs, pass them through the flour, and fry them

Notes

This will make a large quantity, but they do freeze nicely.
These meatballs can be eaten plain or you can add tomato sauce in a pan a cook them for about 5 to 7 minutes. Just add some salt and pepper to the tomato sauce while you cook.
As a side dish you can make pasta, rice, baked potatoes, baked fries, and/or some steamed vegetables.
Preparation time for the mixture is approx. 20 minutes.
